Working in teams of 2, students will research, design and produce a Film Festival Promotion Package consisting of a motion poster and a video trailer.
This promotional package will be used for the publicity of an upcoming Toronto independent film festival. Festival trailers can be screened on the web, television, social media platforms or during other film events. Motion posters can be found in public spaces, such as electronic billboards, kiosk screens, and displayed in shared areas like public transit and pedestrian pathways.
With Toronto’s reputation as a major centre for film production and screening, its thriving independent scene attracts attention from the media, the public, and the film industry. This project aims to generate interest among both new and returning audiences, but could also extend to artists and filmmakers, educators and potential sponsors. Here is a partial list:
